Pretty obviously an redesigned version of their Nona 120mm SP mortar system. It fires a copy of the French 120mm rifled round and its max range is achieved using rocket-assisted projectiles.
No clue in that article about whether the system uses advanced fire control, or what aiming system it uses, or crew size or how many rounds it carries.
We need better spies.
Believe the unit is air droppable as well as its designed for the airborne...
And it only took ten more posts.
Good job.
Those things proved to be a huge burden and clusterfuck. Took rail lines and dissassembly/reassembly to move and position. Hundreds of crew and support troops. Insane logictical trains to support. And they were non-moving targets. Artillery survives by being MOBILE.
That is an awfully thin walled tube for a gun. Looks more like a mortar to me.
LOL!

That is Lodos War, which is fictional, jeez.
I read the link before I posted so I knew it was fictional. Sorry if you did not get the humor.
Goodness.
And you'd be right. It is the 2S4 Tulip self-propelled mortar. Here it is in firing position:
I’m equally glad you are here to be as funny as Saturday Night Live.
