It was a typical Friday night at Gable House Bowl in Torrance people celebrating birthdays, friends meeting up for a few rounds of bowling at the end of the workweek.
Then gunfire erupted. People scrambled for cover.
When it was over, three people lay dead inside, including two 28-year-old men who were best friends. Four others were injured.
On Saturday morning, friends and relatives of the victims huddled in a nearby parking lot, waiting for the bodies to be brought out and for answers about what happened.

I got the hell out of California 40 years ago, just as I was turning 28 years old. Smartest thing I ever did.
We had a gunfight in the parking lot of a bowling alley here a few years ago. If I remember right....1 dead. Guess who?????......Mexicans.

The bowling alleys in LA Coounty are notorious gang hangouts on the weekends - not all of them but yes, this is a bad one. Ive been there on a Friday night.
I do live here!!! CA. was a GREAT state a few decades ago hard to believe Reagan was once our governor HOWEVER Reagan should have DEMANDED border wall BEFORE amnesty!!!!
Remind me to never bowl there if that's a typical Friday night.
