There have been a few more news stories on this subject lately. A popular downtown Portland restaurant vacated one of the buildings which is being tagged by the city as dangerous in an earthquake and moving to a newer building.

The restaurant owner talked about government coming up with money to reinforce the old buildings they are condemning. It’s all about the money.

I suspect the city is in on the money give away. Please don’t throw us in the briar patch and sue us

Not that it’s a bad idea to reinforce these buildings or rip them down. And it’s ok to use Portland money, just not the rest of the states money.
