White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said on Friday that the only reason Democrats want to "come after" President Trump is because “they know they can't beat him.”
“You’re not going to impeach this president when he’s had two of the most successful years that any president has had in modern history,” Sanders said on Fox News.
Sanders was pressed on how some Democrats discussed impeachment on the first day of the new Congress.
“The only reason they want to come after this president is because they know they can’t beat him,” Sanders said. “They can’t beat him when it comes to a policy debate and they’re not going to beat him when it comes to 2020.
“They have no solutions for America,” Sanders continued about the Democrats. “People are sick and tired of playing politics. They want them to come to Washington to ... actually work with the president to get something done.”
“They want our borders closed and protected and they want these individuals to actually come to help the president, not to fight him,” Sanders added. “That is not what America is looking for.”
Trump also tore into impeachment talk among Democrats earlier on Friday, saying they couldn’t impeach “the most popular Republican in party history.”
“How do you impeach a president who has won perhaps the greatest election of all time, done nothing wrong (no Collusion with Russia, it was the Dems that Colluded), had the most successful first two years of any president, and is the most popular Republican in party history 93%?” Trump tweeted at the time.
His remarks came a day after Rep. Brad Sherman (D-Calif.) introduced articles of impeachment against him on the first day of the new Congress.
Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) also called for Trump to be impeached shortly after she was sworn in to office on Thursday and was captured on video telling a crowd of supporters, “We’re going to go in and impeach the mothef---er.”
However, Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) has repeatedly swatted down talk of impeachment among her party and said Thursday that she does not intend to seek grounds for impeachment unless the effort is "clearly bipartisan."
And the president knows their sellout of America game and he ain’t joining the crowd. That’s why they have to get rid of him!
They’re pinning all their hopes on Mueller, and when it turns out to be a nothingburger they will lose what’s left of their minds.
But we had eight years of unfettered access to that thanks to Obama (frankly 16 years if you're honest about who Bush really is) and we were rewarded with stagnation and wars. After two years of Trump undoing all of that, we have tremendous prosperity and, increasingly, fewer commitments to unending war coupled with our parasitic "allies" finally signaling that they will - reluctantly - start honoring their commitments to defend themselves.
Basically he's demonstrating that everything the left says we need, that they win elections on, is wrong and harmful. Therefore he must be destroyed, utterly. Humilitated, jailed if possible. The history books must say he was a cancer that had to be cut out and omit all the positives we saw under him. It's the only way they can keep power and continue to ruin us.
Sarah Sanders is great.
Imagine if we had a Media and a Republican Party who supported POTUS Trump’s Policies the last two years?
All POTUS Trump has accomplished by sheer will he has done on his own for the most part and look at the results.
If a Rat POTUS did what Trump did, you would hear the wonderful stories and statistics day in and day out.
Instead, the Populace is fed hateful depressing Propaganda. The Media is worse than Pravda was back in the 60’s.
There never was collusion between Trump and Russians ... that’s a Hillary Clinton gig. But since democrats own the corrupt FBI and compromised ‘intelligence’ services democrat jerks might try to impeach Trump for jaywalking or paying off sluts...

Sometimes I think the Trump era is only delaying the inevitable. The left only uses the Trump hate to keep the fire burning of the leftism’s creeping advance in America.
The Dems will try anything and everything to get rid of him before Ginsberg croaks. That is their number one objective right now. Protect Ginsberg’s seat.
Dems and RINOs don’t talk about alternate plans to Trump’s Commerce Clause defensible domestic policies, probably because they have none.
Yes, Mueller will continue, because “WE NEED TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS!”. LOL, what a lame, lying joke.
