LAKE WORTH, Fla. - A South Florida woman upset that her parents refused to take her to Outback Steakhouse was arrested after she attacked the couple Wednesday night, deputies said.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, Deana Seltzer, 28, asked her mother to go to the popular chain restaurant in Lake Worth and was told no. Seltzer then became enraged and began punching her mother in the chest and arms, an arrest report said.
Seltzer's father suffered multiple scratches to his face and body when he attempted to intervene.
"Deana went around the house flipping recliners and tearing up other random ... furniture inside the home," the report said.
Seltzer also charged at her father with a 12-inch decorative knife that had been hanging on the wall, chasing him and screaming, "I'm going to (expletive) kill you."
Deputies found a knife laying on a kitchen counter after entering the home, along with a glass dining table that had been flipped over.
Seltzer was arrested on one count each of simple domestic battery and battery of a person 65 or older. She also faces two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Something is getting battered, a blooming onion or you two.
Litterally...
Officials said Seltzer then began running around the home and flipped over a large glass table, recliners and other pieces of furniture. She then ripped a 12-inch decorative knife off a wall and ran toward her father while screaming, Im going to [EXPLETIVE] kill you, officials said.
He was able to grab her arm and wrestle the knife from her. Police arrived on scene and set up a perimeter around the home.
I was gonna say, never had the Bloomin’ Onion but it must be pretty good.
I’ve only been once. It was O.K. but I don’t remember it being this good.

Yep. Sounds like my former friend’s son but throw in drug dealing and a few misdemeanors and a felony.
First she would NOT be a pleasant dinner companion - and second she most likely expected her parents to pay for her meal.
If her parents are smart they’ll move away with no forwarding address.
No “Pine Gap” mystery meat sandwich ????
I hope the kitchen upgrade is free of complications!
My youngest is 6. However, getting the two who are chronological adults to leave is a goal for this year.
When my wife suggested we go out for steaks yesterday, while having this article on the screen, I didn’t hesitate.....and I didn’t get attacked either......phew!
Twenty-eight years old and she can’t get to Outback by herself?
I always ask hubby “can we go to Outback?” But he always says NO. Now I know what to do!
“First she would NOT be a pleasant dinner companion”
Possibly a reason she is not married, and living at home...guys can sense bat-guano crazy!
Yep, she’s nuts.
