Full Title: Jimmy Osmond, 55, has stroke while playing Captain Hook in panto and is rushed to hospital - forcing singer to pull out of future shows

Jimmy Osmond has been rushed to hospital after suffering a stroke on stage while starring in a pantomime.

The former Osmonds star was appearing as Captain Hook during a performance of Peter Pan at the Birmingham Hippodrome when he suffered his second stroke in 15 years.

The 55-year-old will not be returning to work in the show, which concludes on January 27, with Osmond's understudy Luke Redford and Darren Day taking over.

Jimmy became the youngest singer to have a number one hit in the UK aged just nine

The entertainer managed to complete the performance and then signed autographs for fans before going to hospital.

“I went to see them perform as a girl.”

I did not know that the Osmonds were into that.

Well, poor guy (from looks of pic, above) doesn’t look like he’s taking very good care of himself.

A shame, since he had the blessing of a sentinel warning, with the whole in his heart, with his first stroke.

Hope he recovers, completely, and decides to do something about his weight/health.

Best wishes, Jimmy!

Looks like Jimmy could use sister Marie’s diet plan.

And here’s child star, Jackie Coogan, who shot to fame in Charlie Chaplin’s “The Kid”

He can’t fog a mirror, but maybe he can still light a light bulb.

I grew up during the 1970s when that poster of Farrah Fawcett was everywhere. Personally, I thought that was an awful photo of her. The one below was much more flattering but basically most of the photos of her were pretty awful. Not saying she was unattractive but I never quite got why she was considered such a sex symbol. I actually preferred the other two of the Charlie's Angels, in particular Jaclyn Smith.

Incidental trivia...

Farrah Fawcett died on the same day as Michael Jackson. I miss her much more than the pepsi glove handed jerk.

"And now back to our movie, 'The Jackson Five Story', starring 'The Osmond Brothers'"

Actually, a stroke is the first symptom of most Glioblastoma Multiforme brain cancer tumors, especially at that age. Hope it is not, but of the four victims of this disease, each one presented initially with a stroke.

I think Hollywood remade her into what they thought would sell best. She looks so plastic in all the promo pictures. I saw a picture of her once before she was “discovered”. She looked natural and was absolutely stunning.
