Would you believe I DO have a project for that (Let it Snow), but I’m working on another memorial video first.

If I remember correctly, Robert Burns claims he did not actually write Auld Lang Syne.
He heard an old man singing it and wrote it down so it would not be lost.

Didn’t hear that story. That might account for the two variant melodies. Many renditions seem to talk about a traditional version.

They told Alan they were going to drop him on the count of three, but they dropped him on two to get that real look of surprise.

Problem with that movie version is that Bruce Willis talks over the start of the song before it goes into the credits.

I thought he was good in SNOWCAKE (a smaller independent film with Sigourney).

I love that one and the James Taylor version. Keep your fingers crossed that the one I put out tomorrow works well, too. That also has bagpipes.

This Rickmaniac thanks you! Since this month is the 19 year anniversary of Galaxy Quest and in January we have the sad 3rd anniversary of Terrible Thursday when he left us, this is timely. Quest was the first work of his Id seen, and Im sorry about all the wasted years until I became a fan of his.

To: etabeta
Husband loves your version of bagpipes better than mine, so we just bought it from Amazon and will be replacing our version. So a very deep thank you.

I watched a documentary of the history of punk rock and the club CBGB’s role in it. Alan played the owner Hilly Kristal. He didn’t age well. I had no idea he has passed.
