The article at the link shows Instructions yet at the end doesnt show an example of a dark mode screen. It leaves us hanging in the dark pun intended.
Ah yes Windows 10. That’s the program that loses the letters on the key board on startup after one of their gazillion updates and you can’t get past the log in screen, you know, on account of the keyboard doesn’t work anymore. So you, a computer know nothing has to go into the BIOS and start screwing around. This by the way is a work computer hooked up to a Plotter without which I ain’t getting any work done. So in my blundering way I find “roll back last update” and viola the keyboard starts up fine. Now I’m feeling good about having fixed my work computer all by myself and I can go back to eating and paying the rent and stuff when I discover that there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY TO SHUTDOWN WITHOUT UPDATING. Windows seems to be getting stupider as it gets older...
In my book a must have for Windows is flu.x. Found at https://justgetflux.com/
Download - install - and this program produces an easy toggle on/off red shift for using your Windoze computer at night. Makes your LED screens less bright and stimulating.
Not to be a spoil sport but... you can do something similar to this by changing your desktop screen background to black. Even works in Win 7 :)
Granted, this only affects the desktop. Applications like Office are not affected.
