Wow. Oklahoma made a game of it. I stopped watching at halftime. I figured ‘bama was gonna roll up 70 points. What did they do? Bring in their third stringers for the second half? Did Joe Namath start the second half?
They slowed the tempo down once they had the game won.
Me too. I got into the third quarter, and went to bed. I’ll watch the game today that I missed, but I don’t think Oklahoma was ever really in the game AFTER their coach went for first down conversion on 4th down IN THE FIRWST QUARTER.
Maybe it was before then, when they one the coin toss and elected to kick off to BAMA.
BAMA takes you out of your game BEFORE YOUR GAME! Georgia did the same thing in their confewrence championship game with them when they went for a fake punt with 4th and 11 late in the game against them with the score tied.

Alabama probably wanted to avoid injuries and not show Clemson their full repertoire. Whenever Oklahoma got close, Alabama just turned it back on again. They’re that good.
