Its not that hard to figure out. Some of us are tired of zip code pricing that prices 4 apples for ten bucks at a store near me. Or, another store that sells the same apples for three bucks because they have a different zip code.
And the mass migration,of women out of marriage, having children, and raising them themselves, and into the workforce.
Where the children can be brainwashed by the Deep State starting in infancy.

Folks, we don’t know our history. It is a business model that works. The problem is it disappeared for a while and now it is “new” gain. I can remember spending lots of time at the Five and Dime, thinking a bout how to spend my nickel and dime.

Dollar Stores around here have an ambition to erect one every 20 miles. My good contractor buddy is full up on jobs for the 2019 year. And his employees. MAGA!!!
Oh, you betcha! A 50 cent piece from Grandpa and a trip to Ben Franklin (Five & Dime) kept us occupied for HOURS, LOL!
I still remember the stable of plastic horses I once owned; ‘Marshmallow’ ‘Licorice’ and ‘Butterscotch’, some Mexican Jumping Beans and of course those poor, abused disease-ridden small turtles all of us kids had at one time or another. ;)
And if I went to the local small grocer for Mom to pick up milk or a green pepper or something and I was QUICK about it, I could spend the change on Penny Candy for my trouble.
I still remember the glass bottle of ketchup I broke on the way home one time. I fessed up right away and gave her my candy to make up for it. And then she and I took a broom and dustpan and went and cleaned up the sticky mess, where I had dropped and broken the ketchup at the curb.
Lesson: No matter WHAT kind of MESS you make of your Life, for Pete’s Sake - CLEAN IT UP! Love you, Mom! *SMOOCH*
I’m more offended when an upper-middle class community performs poor zoning and allows several of these to open because they’ll take less incentive money than a business that caters more to the population. Right behind them are liquor stores and pawn shops.

You can get nearly new high quality designer label clothing at the thrift store. Takes time to hunt for it though.
