In the old days, in retail/customer service, we were trained to keep our cool.
This guy was triggered over a Trump shirt and a cap? lol
Just 2 years ago, I had to serve a young, quiet guy who seemed polite. When it was time to pay, I reached for his cash and noticed a swastika tattooed on his hand.
I stopped, looked up, and we looked into each other’s eyes for a shocked moment. Just one moment of shock.
And then I just went ahead and finished the transaction, said thank you, and moved on to the next customer.
When serving the public, you have to keep your cool, no matter what, even if it’s difficult sometimes.
That year, a Trump supporter was my customer one day - he was a middle-aged black man wearing a cowboy hat. He kept telling me: “Trump’s gonna make everything better. He’s already bringing back jobs.”
Give me a customer like him every day.
Or a customer like the guy in this video. Notice the other customer wasn’t worried about his Trump shirt.
I bet he was worried about the clerk though lol
