That riff started off as a joke!!
Ended up being one of the best rock songs of he era and maybe the top 100 of all time.
Axl’s incredible voice and Slash’s amazing guitar were great.
Too bad Axl went insane.
Yeah, I was impressed with the Sweet Child riff because I use to do it where I picked every note with a pick and I would get messed up that way, especially if I was drinking. Then I tried with hybrid picking (there’s another name for it too, maybe Travis picking) and I’d never mess up — could fall asleep playing it. I really like Slashes solo — it’s a ripper. I don’t know about Axle, if he really went insane but I couldn’t believe he played with AC/DC. That was out of the blue.
