For anyone unaware, Fallout 76 is an online only, pay to play MMO. It no longer is a single player RPG. This forever changes the Fallout experience for me. Its dead.
I have grown up enjoying the Fallout world. Sadly, I will never wander the landscape of post apocalyptic West Virgina.
After waiting the almost a days time to download the 52 gig latest iteration, I finally got to play. WRONG. Online account must be paid for before signing in. Deleted that beyotch straight away. Adios Bethesda.
But things that kids do are fun to me, pushing 50, I climb trees, investigate/explore/experiment/dream and play as I once did.
Over time, there are less and less people with which to 'play'. Luckily for me, my Daughter & I go on adventures together and 'investigate' things that pique our curiosity.

Waiting on the English translation...
My mother in law got it for me for Christmas, but I’m still playing Red Dead Redemption 2. I’m 42, married, father of two, and pay my taxes on time. Therefore, I will play video games to my heart’s content and won’t give any thought to whether or not I “should” still be playing them.
I purchased Red Dead Redemption II and am so mad at it. I was in the second scene and all of a sudden my rifle is gone, so I can’t go on. I had a rifle at the end of the first scene. I turned it off, and came back the next day. Is that a glitch?
Lol. I dont know dear. I never got to leave the vault.
Already shelled out $60 for the game. Plus $300 for the console. Add another controller you say, plop down another couple Jacksons. Now Im going to pay a monthly fee just to play? Nope. Red Dead it is.
You cannot play the game without having an active PlayStation plus account. That equals paying $10 a month or a different longer term rate. Yes or no?
I feel ya. Had I known I never would have even unwrapped the cellophane, just returned it. I got $17 bucks when I traded it in today.
Hunting, fishing & camping and take your kids with you.
Once you get a rifle it seems to come and go. Maybe if you buy it you wont lose it.
As a WV resident, I’m a little curious what post apocalyptic West Virginia looks like. Is it different from how it looks now?
Tough to recreate the damage 8 years of Obamunism and 35 years of liberal envirofascism has wrought on a tiny screen.
Thanks. I’ll look for that, but I only just started the game and don’t think I have any money yet.
If it weren’t for this post I would have NO idea of what the heck this column is about.
As it is I didn’t watch the vid so I have only SOME idea of what the heck this column is about.
Fallout seems to have reached the end of its journey.
Whatever happened to Half-Life?
You're paying Sony for a PlayStation account, which is needed to play online and play many things, including Fallout. It's not a Fallout charge. You can play Fallout 76 on PC with no paid account.
I can’t get through the dreadful snowbound section of RDR to enjoy what clips from the later game promise. Hate it and keep postponing going back in. I actually began a replay of Dark Souls 3, that’s how masochistic I can be. But RDR, not so much.
