Our universe: An expanding bubble in an extra dimension

As a kid, I tried to grasp the concepts of infinity and the universe...with little success. Now that I know that the universe is expanding, I don't feel any better. My question remains: "Expanding into what?"

There is one model that fits our understanding of the Universe very well.

That theory is.... The Universe is Infinite.

Stars or just clusters of atom of something bigger than us? I mean what surrounds atoms, dark matter?

If dark nrg and dark matter permeate our universe ...is it also a part of the matter that makes up our brains? If so...could those internal “dark” forces affect our thinking and reasoning? How could one trust their own cogitations if this is true?

The solution.... It is not just 'gravity' that holds galaxies together. It is Electro-magnetic force that keeps galaxies together and that determines the form of galaxies, and indeed the entire Universe.

The Universe is simply expanding. It is not expanding into anything at all.
