There was a widow who was trying to find out what happened to her husband..." The poor Menendez orphans approve.

She sent the cops to his house, yes?

Did they not shoot a dog?

The fact that they are hiding everything is very suspicious.

Yes.
What did she think was going to happen?
Stay clear of "loved ones" that are a few Loops short of a full Fruit. They'll get you killed without batting an eye, and then "demand answers".
You got the cops involved, dimwit. End of story.

Guess there is no further need for welfare checks, but he will now vote for gun controlling Democrats from here on.

"...welfare visit..."
Never under any circumstances call police to help if it can otherwise be done by relatives, friends, or neighbors.
Police are not your pals. Contemporary officers are often pumped on steroids with tempers to match.

So they went to do a welfare check, found out he was ok, but since he answered the door with a gun they came back with a Bearcat and snipers and killed him.
Any excuse to play with the expensive toys!
This country is beyond screwed.

Ruby Ridge
He was a law-abiding, patriotic Green Beret who retired from the Army and went to live in Northern Idaho

They nearly handed him a life sentence

The goons came with a swarm of choppers, laying seige to the entire community

They murdered his pretty, religious wife, shooting her through the head with a sniper rifle as she held her infant daughter

They shot his young son in the back, killing him

But Randy surrendured and had his day in court

The Government Criminals claimed a major part of his life, now you see the old man

Why should a man have an arrest warrant filed against him for coming to his door at Midnight with a firearm, especially in, what seems to be, a remote place?
To: waterhill
Sorry, I’m not familiar with the acronym MANTSH.

The deputy conducted the welfare check at around midnight. He came to the door armed not knowing who was there. As a result of the welfare check, nothing happened. The officer left and then did proceed to get an arrest warrant because Mr. Johnson answered the door with a firearm, In the eyes of America's enemies on the left, answering the door - at midnight - while holding a firearm is grounds for arrest. I expected better from Idaho.
