Silver Maple and Cottonwood. 100+ Ft tall weeds.

The smell in a pine forest after a rain would be worth the problem.

I have a problem with poplars in two parts of my woods. They die, fall and make a huge mess, I’m in the process of eradicating them too. I have plenty of maples but Norwegian Maples are infesting this area, invasive species.

I have tons of oak, some VERY old. I haven’t had to take down a live oak in years but will next year. I’ve been burning ash for two years now after removing a bunch of them from where my car shelter is now.

Cottonwoods around here are like the best perfume in the world in the early spring.
