Our center has a cardiologist that come once or twice a week, but it is the only one in Mo. that does. Prior to this arrangement, they would do referrals to various cardiologists who agreed to take a few patients each year @ a discount for those in or near poverty and without insurance.
*smile* Ive had 5 operations in the past year, none open heart. Nothing like getting kicked in the chest by a mule or two. Then there is the burning of that same heart!
