This comment caught my attention. “Not only do I know stuff about beer, racing, firefighting, and paramedicine, but my step father just retired from Ohio Edison. Not all transformer explosions are green mind you. It depends on the age of the transformer, whether they still have the old, toxic oil in them, or the new environmentally friendly oils. I’ve seen them explode blue, white, and green. It depends on what they are distributing power to, and how much. Was it overloaded or struck by lightning? All factors to consider.”

Whatever exploded must have been big and old.

A similar blue light was shown in the LA explosion. If you look at the video of it some say you can see a blue laser but that’s bovine scatology, it’s clearly not. Noting the area it’s likely old as well.

I don’t think there’s any there there if you know what I mean.
