My 11 year old grandson only asked for clothes for Christmas. He’s hooked on a particular brand and that’s what he wanted and what he got. He was a happy camper.

Good for him. There was a coat I wanted, made hints; to me though, again IMHO, when parents give the basic necessities as gifts for Christmas it's just doing what they should during the year.

What I see on TV adverts regarding buy buy buy esp. car sales is kind of disgusting and covers up what the whole thing about Christmas really is.
