10 years ago, that headline would have an entirely different meaning.

Selfie addiction is a real problem. And an annoyance too. Some people have nothing else on their social media.

10 years ago? I immediately though of that “meaning” right way as I read the headline.

Is it me, or am I as weird as, say, a Democrat, for not ever o once in my lifetime have taken a “selfie” other than for passport purposes? I mean, seriously, why the hell would I want to create a “selfie” of my ugly-ass mug?
To: bgill
Isn’t it absolutely amazing how many millenials (and older) think that the rest of us are interested in what they’re doing and where they’re going every second of the day?
I have never seen so many people so completely wrapped up in themselves. What a sad commentary.
To: GOP Congress
I didn’t even know how to flip the camera on my phone until a couple of weeks ago.
My son showed me how a selfie is done, but I doubt I’d ever do it.

I’m surprised the Limp-Wristed Kenyan Boy could even hold up a selfie stick

Couldn’t agree more. Social media has exacerbated people’s natural self-absorption to an obnoxious degree.
To: bgill
I’m a modern day rebel: no tattoos, body piercings, facebook, twitter, or selfies.

Go one step further...do not buy branded clothing items...or accessory items which have the manufacturers name so that others can see it....purses...shirts..hats...sweatshirts..etc..you become a unpaid walking advertisement for slightly above average products...
