Laugh all you want
But if Ive seen one 35-55 year old woman dance like a stripper to Pour Some Sugar on Me .....Ive seen 100s
Including my rib.
Bars downtown Nashville where I live or at 30A or PCB
Or yes....even your fair city....which I love btw....it was my first big city as a boy in Mississippi...my uncle lived at the Twin 60s hotel on Central next to the Cowboys HQ around Mockingbird
Now younger 30 somethings get all worked up to Nelly and Its Getting Hot in Here
The country turned black musically like overnight around 2000 or so
On Thru the night, high n dry, and pyromania are, in my opinion, their best albums. In terms of popularity, Hysteria, was a hit maker. Do I own It? Yes. It’s very 80s glam hair band-esque. Bringing On The Heartbreak versus Pour Some Sugar...not a question in my mind on which is better, IMHO.
I’m actually a Fort Worth girl. Can’t stand Dallas lol I was actually downtown for an interview this week. Couldn’t recognize it for all the new downtown living that has gone in over the last couple of years.
Music has changed dramatically. I tend to listen to older stuff in just about every genre. New stuff lacks.
It was the late 90's when a lot of rock music decided it HAD to have rap in it. Lasted till about 2003. in retrospect, I have come to like a lot of those Nu Metal albums from circa 2001 or so. But at the time, I wouldn't go near it. My screen name was chosen on a whim in 2000, so that tells you what I was listening to at that time. I remember specifically having Raging Slab on in the backround when I chose the name on a whim.
