So I just found this. I went and watched the Zapruder film frame by frame and it confirms the driver turned around and did something. And it sure explains why Jackie tried to get the hell out of the car the direct opposite way of where the driver was. It was said later that she was trying to get a piece of John's brain on the trunk lid of the car. Really?

Interesting information, Snowybear. Thanks for posting that. HOW WAS THIS MISSED? I guess this is how Confirmation Bias works. Everyone has assumed for so many years - because they couldn't think otherwise - that the driver had turned around to just look at what was going on.

I saw a speaker in the Detroit area in the 90s, probably mid 90s, who gave a talk on the JFK assassination and this was his theory exactly, that the driver shot him and Jackie was trying to escape or get to the SS agents at the back of the car. He showed a couple of frames from the Zappruder tape that showed a silver glint off the drivers hand, which was aimed at the back of the car. It was a very convincing theory with the photos to back it up.
