Women are sending love letters to a man who has been sentenced to life in prison for murdering his pregnant wife and two daughters. Chris Watts is serving life in prison after pleading guilty to murdering his wife, Shanann, and their daughters 4-year-old Bella and 3-year-old Celeste. Prosecutors have released dozens of letters that are now pouring in to Watts in prison.

Many (most?) of these women are convinced the the man is innocent. He has been framed, railroaded. And so the help-the-underdog mentality kicks in.

This sort of seems like NOT being used. She doesn’t have to cook or clean or sleep with him. She gets to have a pretend fantasy boyfriend but doesn’t have to pick up his socks.

When I was in jr hs and that Richard Speck thing happened we were in our first day of class. The teacher was reading the roll call, and when he got to Bob Speck he actually stopped talking and looked up. There was a pregnant pause.

A juror on the Ramirez trial left her husband and children and earned her PI license just so she could meet Ramirez behind bars for sex, much to the displeasure of his wife who was not permitted to have physical contact.

I went to one alanon meeting after leaving alcoholic husband very early in marriage. No way I was staying around for that, though he was extremely wealthy. At the meeting, one woman cried and said her husband was sent to jail for beating her up, “Will he still love me when he gets out?” Stupidest thing I ever heard. I never went to alanon again.
What’s with these women?
They are all broken women. almost all have been abused.
