A high school assistant principal has been suspended for allegedly cornering a transgender student in the boys bathroom and challenging the teen to use a urinal to “prove that he was a boy,” according to reports.
Michael Critchfield, a sophomore at Liberty High School in West Virginia, said he went to the bathroom before leaving for a school trip on Nov. 27 when Assistant Principal Lee Livengood barged in, according to a statement from the American Civil Liberties Union of West Virginia.
“He kept asking me why I was in there. [He said] I shouldn’t be in there because I am not a guy, and I told him I am a boy, I identify with this bathroom, and it is my legal right to use this restroom,” Critchfield recalled in the statement, according to the Charleston Gazette-Mail.
The principal then allegedly blocked the doorway and continued to loudly berate the 15-year-old.
The incident finally ended when some other students complained they could hear Livengood yelling at their classmate from the cafeteria, hallways and the band room, Critchfield said.
At the end of the exchange, Livengood told the teen: “Not gonna lie, you freak me out,” in front of the other students and the trip chaperone, Critchfield said.
The ACLU-WV sent a letter describing the incident — and calling for a meeting with school administrators — to the Harrison County Schools superintendent Sunday night.
“The bottom line is that it’s been weeks, and the school has done nothing to remediate the situation,” ACLU-WV executive director Joseph Cohen said.
The teen’s mother said she “wanted to cry” when she heard what the principal had put her son through.

Whut? I’ve never identified with a bathroom. A fully stocked kitchen, sure. Maybe even a pantry. But a bathroom?
This country is rapidly turning into an emotional $hithole.
The letter also alleges that some teachers have failed to address the student by his preferred pronouns and name.

My wife says the problem is one of labeling. Since the left is now convoluting what it means to be a male or female, the bathrooms should be labeled according to the equipment that God gave you. We should have bathrooms for people with penises who can use urinals and bathrooms for people without penises who cannot. She suggested some sort of picture of a rudimentary penis on the penis bathroom, and the same picture covered with a circle with a line through it on the other bathroom. Or she said a picture of a muffin could be recognized as the international symbol for a vagina. The deraigned people who use the bathrooms can call themselves whatever they want, but it is a matter of equipment and hygiene.
I wonder if a religious teacher could make a case that participating in that nonsense with "preferred pronouns" and such was against their religion, as it forced them to acknowledge something forbidden in the Bible.
We can blame the Cultural Marxist for it too. They set out to create people incapable of preserving the civilization and nation and they’ve succeeded.
I find the educator is kinda gross. Show me your penis while using the urnal? Hopefully brought up on child sexual assault charges.

Funny I agree with this as teachers should not influence directly personal values. Neither encourage or discourage. They may encourage students to consider ramifications of their positions.
