Thought process.
Undetected cancer in the lung migrated to bones.
Weak bones broke in a minor spill and cancer found.

(Still doesn’t fully explain the quick recovery. Maybe no broken bones after all. Biopsy?)

Prayers up for her comfort in this world. May her family find succor in His promises.

Or perhaps the broken ribs were the result of osteoporosis. She has that stooped look to me, of someone suffering from that. (Recently diagnosed with that myself after a bone scan so I am concentrating on calcium and Vit D)

The lobectomy - I take that to mean she had a lobe of her lung removed to remove the cancer?

I too, pray for God to grant her repentance and draw her to Jesus.

He either gets the funding for the Wall.... or the Govt shuts down,...

I hope he says something like:

You know, since the government has been shut down for two weeks, I haven't noticed much difference, and people are calling me and sending me emails telling me they don't notice any difference. The only ones crying about it are the democRATs...but we've saved an awful lot of money, more than enough to build ten walls.

So, I think we're going to take a long hard look at just how much "government" there really needs to be, and start shutting some things down....permanently.

These will be YUGE CUTS....bigger than ever before. The biggest cuts the swamp has ever seen. Trillions of dollars!

Just think how much of your money we'll save.

It would be good if McConnell would go nuclear and do 51 margin vote. I know— still might need a dem or two. RINOs so wobble and seem to enjoy doing so.

Supreme court rejects Trump plea to enforce asylum ban at US-Mexico border
Justices denied on a 5-4 vote the administration’s request to put on hold a federal judge’s order at least temporarily
The supreme court on Friday dealt a blow to Donald Trump by refusing to allow his administration to implement new rules prohibiting asylum for people who cross the US border illegally, a key component of his policies aimed making it harder for immigrants to enter and stay in the United States.
The justices on a 5-4 vote denied the administration’s request to put on hold a California-based federal judge’s order at least temporarily preventing it from carrying out the policy intended make anyone crossing the US-Mexican border outside of an official port of entry ineligible for asylum.
Conservative chief justice John Roberts joined the court’s four liberals in denying the administration’s request.

That is utterly disgusting. I wonder what Roberts’ argument was. I’m sure the actual laws for asylum are fairly detailed; one is that a person claiming asylum has to accept the first country he goes into that offers it, and MX offered to all of them, and they refused. So-called asylum seekers going through MX are all ineligible for even seeking it, jut by that alone.

I’m going to throw up now.

BREAKING: #SCOTUS denies request to block nationwide injunction against new asylum policy. Dissenters: Justices Thomas, Alito, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh. Bottom line: new asylum policy cannot be enforced anywhere in US while the case is playing out in lower courts.— Shannon Bream (@ShannonBream) December 21, 2018

This means Roberts refused to let the Trump administration jump the lower courts & decide this immediately. It has to play out in the lower courts first. https://t.co/tLPgGrddyi— Brian Cates (@drawandstrike) December 21, 2018

Despite what several politically partisan judges might think, as the head of the Executive Branch, it is well within President Trump's authority to change the asylum policy of federal branch agencies such as the Border Patrol and DHS.— Brian Cates (@drawandstrike) December 21, 2018

So the FBI didn’t “pursue it” it. Left wondering if it is so prevalent at this point that the FBI can not pursue it all. Horrific.

That is a relevant and frightening point, RitaOK.

Acting Attorney General Whitaker Rescinds 69 Guidance Documents
WASHINGTON –Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker today announced that, pursuant to President Trump’s Executive Order 13777 and the Department of Justice’s November 2017 memorandum ending the practice of regulation by guidance, the Department is rescinding 69 additional guidance documents that are unnecessary, outdated, inconsistent with existing law, or otherwise improper.
In making the announcement, Acting Attorney General Whitaker said:
“Under the Constitution, Congress writes our laws and the Executive Branch carries them out,” Acting Attorney General Whitaker said. “Congress has given us a specific process for implementing regulations, and we have to follow it. Unfortunately, not every previous Administration has done that, and some have overstepped their lawful authority by issuing guidance documents that impose new obligations on parties outside of the Executive Branch and go further than existing law allows. The Trump Administration has already rescinded dozens of guidance documents that were improper, outdated, unnecessary, or inconsistent with current law, and today we are rescinding dozens more. We will continue this effort to restore the rule of law and our constitutional order because this government is accountable to the American people.”
In March 2017, President Donald Trump issued Executive Order 13777, which calls for agencies to establish Regulatory Reform Task Forces, chaired by a Regulatory Reform Officer, to identify existing regulations for potential repeal, replacement, or modification. Principal Deputy Associate Attorney General Jesse Panuccio chairs the Department of Justice Task Force, which is continuing its review of existing guidance documents that should be repealed, replaced, or modified.
The Task Force identified 25 guidance documents for repeal in December 2017, 24 guidance documents for repeal in July 2018, and has identified 69 more documents to announce for repeal this month.
The list of 69 total guidance documents that the Department of Justice is announcing withdrawal of today is as follows:
ATF Rev. Ruling 69-114.
ATF Ruling 77-25.
ATF Ruling 77-26.
ATF Ruling 75-30.

ATF Ruling 80-23.
Open Letter to all FFLs dated Aug. 31, 2006.
Open Letter dated 22, 2001.
Open Letter dated 20, 2001.
Open Letter dated 4, 2008.
Open Letter to Washington FFLs dated Aug. 12, 2011.
53 Open Letters dated February 1994.
Open Letter to all Federal Explosives Licensees and Permittees dated Feb. 12, 2003.
