It’s really what you avoid that’s important to health.

If it clogs arteries, it shouldn’t see the inside of your mouth.

Avoid high-fat meat products and fried foods.

Good news for coffee lovers. This beloved pick-me-up helps keep your arteries clean. One study found that drinking three cups a day significantly lowers your risk for developing atherosclerosis, or clogged arteries.

I am going to live forever!

Nothing will ever make me fall in love with broccoli a first time. That is some seriously nasty stuff.

Any doctor with any sense will tell you that genetics plays the biggest role in heart issues. Granted that diet will improve your heart but if the problem is in your genes then there is nothing which will prevent heart issues.

I discovered avocados earlier this year and I LOVE them. A week does not go by when there ISN'T a tub of homemade guacamole in the fridge.

I buy a bunch and brown bag them. When juuuust ripe, I split them, peel them and then freeze them...then when frozen I vac seal them. They keep for a good long time that way.

The liberal idea of healthy is tofu.

We’re all gonna die eventually so why not eat what we want?

One serving of whole grains only, otherwise it’s a great list. Also, stick to lemons and limes for the citrus, the others are too sweet. I’m bummed that I can’t do nuts (allergic except for peanuts) but seeds work as well. I eat chia, pumpkin, and sunflower seeds.

DO NOT EAT for five days.

Drink only water, tea or coffee.
After day one, it is pure fat burning.
It is how your body was built.

there’s zero research that any of these foods will “unclog” your arteries ... BS like this makes ignorant people think that certain foods act on arteries like Drano acts on clogged pipes ...

plaques in the arteries are not “clogs”, they are essentially scabs trying to cover puss-filled pimples of the endothelial lining of the arteries ... these pimples are fundamentally the result of chronic inflammation of the arterial endothelium due to a variety of causes, including a toxic diet, toxic smoking, hypertension, obesity-provoked inflammation, etc.

Foods won’t take plaque out of our arteries. The only way to do that is to take the big chance of exercising extremely intensely and hoping that the clots won’t kill you.

If anyone reading this does use Turmeric on a daily basis, this is where I get ours. I buy this 4 LB bag which lasts us for a few months. Cost $23 to your front door.

The wife saw an article that uses roasted garlic as the basis to he;p detoxify and do good things.

6 cloves the first day (morning) and 4 cloves a day for a week or so after.

We started it when she was told that a very small mas in a breast needed to be biopsied "just to be sure" as it had less than 20% chance of being cancer with her history.

8 days of the garlic later, we went in for the biopsy and the doctor had to take more scans, etc., to pinpoint it so he could hit it with the biopsy needle.....he couldn't find any sign of it and just set up a mammogram for 6 months instead of the usual year....that small mass had been showing up for years and when it grew a tiny bit, it kicked off a process to check it out and now it isn't there....

The garlic didn't cure a cancer, but it did display some cleansing properties - we're still doing it and into the 3rd week - only I only eat 3 cloves a morning now but she eats all 4....taste is washed out with morning coffee and wife has asked friends to give the "sniff test" to be sure she doesn't smell like garlic - the roasting seems to keep that from happening...

BTW - I wasn't feeling bad before but actually feel better since starting it.
