I’m now wondering if there’s another story beneath the surface of John Kelly’s departure as Chief of Staff. Perhaps Trump has determined that retired generals are the worst people he can ever hire for any position of responsibility in the White House.

He probably knows that a White House full of Generals isn’t good. But one of the main activities of the ongoing coup attempt, has been to menace anyone who even thinks about going to work for Trump.

It has been 10 times as hard for Trump to attract the people he would have been able to bring aboard precisely BECAUSE of operations like an illegal Beria (”show me the man, I’ll find you the crime”) operation to get Flynn.
And following the Soviet model, the FBI/Mueller directly threatened his son. They are now doing the same with Trump’s family.

You are without shame.

“Perhaps Trump has determined that retired generals are the worst people he can ever hire for any position of responsibility in the White House.”

Or it could be something a good deal more reasonable than that. The average tenure of a White House Chief of Staff is 18 months. Kelly has served 17.
