Me either. I would prefer not to know how much it costs - I can’t stand eating out, but my wife likes to. Now I just need to get her to figure out the tip on her own!
Easy cheat-cheat tip math:
10% of the total, then double it. Yeah, the 20% includes on the tax, but it’s nice to tip well. I worked in restaurants too once.
Take 10% of the bill -- move the decimal point -- which shows how many cents -- one place to the *left*.
Now take half of that number.
Add the two together.
