I’m with you on the plot of the new Star Wars Mairdie. My kids were enamored, thought them completely fitting as precursors to the real Star Wars. But I like Weird Al’s version.
I never really liked the new movies, and I certainly couldn’t follow the plot meanderings. The ONLY time I figured out what they were about was when I made the Weird Al version. Still couldn’t connect to the new movies emotionally, as I had the first 3, but at least I understood them. I consider that one an instructive video. Like learning to take a carburetor apart.
