Nonsense. Our ‘75 and ‘79 were GENUINELY large and big engined, but they got about 10-15 mpg.

Nonsense? How do you know what mileage I got on the Mark IV I had? It was definitely less than 10 mpg. Maybe because the car needed to be better tuned.
