It appears that you have a great marriage;)
We have insurance for autos, homes, medical etc., perhaps it’s time to design ‘Marriage Insurance’. Underwriting/premiums would be based on age, length of engagement, pre-marital sex, unplanned pregnancy, work history, parental approval, other marriages/partnerships, sexual preference and of course divorce lawyers fees.
Karma is rarely instant but it does eventually show up.
Imperfect justice in that without the cooperation and testimony of the lover, there would be no solution to the crime and no conviction of the wife. Moreover, as a rule of thumb, the first to cut a deal with the prosecutor usually ends up with the best deal; and in this case, the wife was the initiator and prime planner of the murder and so deserved the greater punishment.
