Who would have thought that the Super Bowl Halftime show, an American institution watched by more than 100 million people, would become the least wanted gig in music? But thanks to the ongoing controversy concerning the NFLs stance on a players right to protest, brought to the forefront by footballs top conscientious objector Colin Kaepernick, Maroon 5 are learning the precarious stance that the performance represents.
According to sources, the band has reached out to more than a half-dozen stars to appear as featured guests during the 13-minute slot midway through Super Bowl LIII, but so far, none have agreed to do it.

Are we sure it’s the NFL and not Maroon 5?

Thug rappers abound. Should be no problem getting them to perform for the thug players, and the thug loving fans.

Sort of like the OSCARS looking for a host, any host.
By making everything political the left is ruining our nation. Entertainers better wise up to the fact that they should keep their opinions to themselves.
Hey, maybe the Dixie Chicks are available.

"Curiously, the Super Bowl halftime show doesnt pay, which makes it even trickier to book an A-list act. And while the viewing audience is undoubtedly enormous, the criticism over aligning with the NFL promises to ring as loudly. Nobody wants to be associated with it, says one insider privy to talks about the halftime show. (That statement also begs the question of who will deliver the National Anthem at the games start.) Regardless, it has to be diverse. Thats who the audience is and thats the world we live in.
Why does it have to be diverse?

Ebner Hawes and The Carolina Jug Band has an opening that day.

I don’t see what difference a 6th Maroon would make. Maroons are maroons.

Never heard of Maroon 5, Migos, Lil Yachty and Lil Baby.

They’re Marooned playing for the SJW league. Too white for the league. What about balancing it off with a BLM love fest. Beating some fake police officers, black power signs and stuff.

Why would any liberal be adverse to the NFL, which allowed the protests and gave liberal groups millions of dollars? Now the NFL is racist?

The obvious answer is to go as ghetto as you can. That's the NFL's base.
