If you enlarge the photograph, you will easily see that the stocking was originally an ‘O’ that was turned into a ‘Q’ with a piece of ‘tape’.................

I do see that.... but it is now a Q. I have no doubt that there is some meaning behind the O into a Q, maybe more than one.
