Q mentioning gold would destroy the Fed, really caught my attention!

**************************************************************************
Me too. I have been reading articles and books on the international financial system. Someone said that if Trump came out and announced that gold was worth $10,000 per oz. that would be the way out of the next coming crisis, but I haven’t been able to follow that logic.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the Fed is bankrupt after all the lender of last resort to the entire world and the helicopter money that was printed.

Questioning gold wouldn’t do anything to the Fed. The Fed operated under a gold standard from 1913 until 1971 when President Nixon abrogated the postwar Bretton Woods monetary agreement. The Fed had no vote in the decision to cut the dollar loose from its last link to gold, that was a Presidential decision.

The Treasury, not the Fed, owned the nation’s gold supply and still does. The Fed adjusts the credit portion of the money supply. Congress granted it the legal authority to monetize Treasury debt and it’s not possible for it to go bankrupt. It’s not a commercial bank, it’s a monetary authority.

If we have the gold, and Q said we did, then compared to gold, our national debt will be 1/8 (in gold) of what it was prior to the announcement. That may be helpful for the US debt, but disastrous for the global economy.

I don't remember the figures, but someone should go check how much gold is in the world, and how much gold it would take to finance our government for just one year; maybe most of it, IIRC.

We're living in a time when many things are converging. It's a time like no other in human history. I think anyone who makes preparations to be able to sustain themselves, and their family for an extended time, are very wise in doing so.

Any preparation is better than none. When things start going south, it's going to happen very quickly. Maybe overnight. Most people have only a few days of food on hand at best - don't be one of those - which I'm certain you're not.
