“since you say you’ve worked with satellites, can you please provide a live video stream from the earth to just one of the thousands upon thousands of satellites orbiting the earth? I mean, it’s space junk. But we never see it...

Can you give us a photo of a satellite from the earth? I mean a real photo, like one you’d take yourself with a Nikon.”

This web sight will tell you when the next time the international space station (ISS) will traverse your part of the planets night sky and other satellites as well.

https://www.heavens-above.com

It will also track the planets and stars with math that took humanity using God given (breathed life into ) gifts and talents of mathematics and reason centuries to figure out. Isaiah 42:5

Math, Science and a Diety (God) are not incompatible.

Please start your readings here my friend.

The ISS is big enough to clearly see with a good pair of binoculars. I’ll ask one of my former co-workers to ask an astronaut to wave as they pass overhead so you know it’s real and not all an act. She’ll be heading up there in a few weeks if our relations with the Russians don’t completely break down. All joking aside about waving, you can clearly see the ISS with a good pair of binoculars in reasonable enough detail to remove your doubts. Who you gonna beleive, some photshopped photo from the internet or your own eyes. You do beleive in Galileo’s optics. If not we’re done here.

“Line of sight radio or microwave towers over the ocean in 1969... specifically from Australia to Texas in half a second or less?”

You’ve heard of ships and islands I assume. I won’t discuss P3 Orion comms because I’d have to kill you afterwards. See civilian operators. I’ve had a tour of NOAA’s.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lockheed_P-3_Orion#Civilian_operators

Microwaves travel at 3 x 10^8 m/s. Assuming a circumference of 24900 miles, a microwave signal can theoretically travel around the entire planet in 0.125 seconds. That’s 12 and one half one hundredths of a second for those of you from Rio Linda.

So moon to Australia and all the way around the world twice could occur in less than 1.5 seconds. That would include every television on the planet soon there after using AT&T’s microwave infrastructure. The command from texas to the moon through Australia to get the whole process started would start 1.325 seconds before time 0 or ignition. The rest of the process is automatic as far as texas is concerned.

My son works with people who calculate the lead time necessary to send commands in very long wave frequencies to a satellite that is now well beyond Pluto to insure that events occur when necessary. They even re-installed the operating system and rebooted the on-board computers from greater than 8.2 billion Kilometers away. ( it’s not windows!) He’s smarter than me, much smarter. My wife is to but don’t tell her I said that. I’d never hear the end of it.

“What has infrared/radar to do with live video stream broadcasting/downlinking transmissions on the “moon”?”

It involves the automatics tracking and focus of the camera thus eliminating the need for two way down and uplink in real time making FM signals for audio and video at 3 x 10^8 M/s through 284000 kilometers of space in less than 1.2 seconds possible.

I assume you also believe then that we didn’t have batteries to run the rover either, Duh. I assume that you also know that electricity can be produced chemically in realtime, in a small package. It expensive, dangerous, explosive and hazardous but compared to the risk of going to the frickin moon itself it’s an acceptable risk. The resulting carcinogens we’re left on the moon. I hope that’s Ok with you.

Peace

On December 24, 1968, in what was the most watched television broadcast at the time, the crew of Apollo 8 read in turn from the Book of Genesis as they orbited the Moon. The Bible used was provided by the Gideons. Bill Anders, Jim Lovell, and Frank Borman recited Genesis chapter 1, verses 1 through 10 verbatim, using the King James Version text. Anders read verses 1–4, Lovell read verses 5–8, and Borman read verses 9–10, concluding the transmission.

William Anders

We are now approaching lunar sunrise, and for all the people back on Earth, the crew of Apollo 8 has a message that we would like to send to you.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.[4]

James Lovell

And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.[4]

Frank Borman

And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called the Seas: and God saw that it was good.

And from the crew of Apollo 8, we close with good night, good luck, a Merry Christmas – and God bless all of you, all of you on the good Earth.

Don’t sound like a bunch of Godlessness to me. Obama godless probably. Allah will decide that one (LOL)

Interesting.

So in plain language, that everyone can understand, this is what you are saying:

NASA says it used off the shelf cameras in “space” and on the “moon” but you are saying they had extremely sophisticated chemically-powered “batteries” that provided the energy for the Lunar Rover and all the other energy needs to power TV uplink and broadcasting from the camera that was left behind on the moon?

Still not buying it.

I'm not as interested in the ISS (interesting moniker btw) as just standard satellites, such as the ones you worked on.

Where are the videos of these satellites?

You know, all that “space junk”... we should be able to see it in the daytime, right?

Why wouldn't we be able to see this stuff in the daytime sky?

Are you saying we had a line of P3 Orion in the year 1970?

Wait, so you are saying that infrared signals were used to trigger a mechanical zoom on an off the shelf RCA analog color video camera that was powered by chemical batteries?

I'd really like to see some proof of this.

We did not have P3 Orions back in 1969-72.

But you are saying that there was a line of sight tower going from Australia
to an island
to a boat
to a plane
and back to another boat etc.,
and this is how the “Live” TV Broadcast From The “Moon”
was transmitted to Houston,
so Houston could then trigger an infrared transmission to mechanically zoom and tilt the camera lens on the "lunar surface" in on the Apollo 17 “moon” liftoff here? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9HQfauGJaTs

I say "absolute B.S."

As for all that Bible recitation...

remember that "liars will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven" no matter how many times they publicly recite Bible verses.

Satan knows the Bible very well, too.

In the forty days in the desert, it took Jesus Himself to countermand Lucifer's tricky lying interpretations of the Word.

In fact, the way Christ put Satan's misinterpretations of the Bible to the test of the Truth is what we must do with NASA and all man-made claims that countermand His Word.
