WASHINGTON (AP) -- A woman accused of being a secret agent for the Russian government has likely taken a plea deal, prosecutors indicated Monday in a court filing that said her case has been "resolved."
The information was included in a filing in the case against Maria Butina. Her lawyers and federal prosecutors have asked for a hearing as soon as Tuesday morning.

The charges against Butina were brought by federal prosecutors in Washington, D.C., and her case is unrelated to special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.
Make a few fake allegations against Trump and you’ll be back home before you can say “caviar”.

Is she going to confess she once stayed in a Trump hotel?

What is it, that she did?
Did she break into the DNC server and steal information?
Did she steal the plans to some Top Secret weapon after sleeping with the engineer that designed it?
Did she get a sitting President to give America’s secrets and technology to the Russians the way clinton did the Chinese?
Granted, I understand there may be a lot more to it. But if there is, some real national security stuff, then why advertise this whole thing? Apparently, someone she dealt with tried to get near DJT and was rebuffed. Am I missing something? Or just another dart with which to try and embarrass the President, even though she never got anywhere near him?
She’s Russian...that’s all that matters.
Some people can not sub consciously (or even semi-consciously) hear Russian crime without thinking Trump.

No spying happened. This is just FBI/DOJ Bullcrap trying to back up their “Russia” theory.
This girl was a 2nd amendment believer who wanted the same thing in Russia. She net with the NRA and GOP 2A supporters. She also went to prayer breakfasts.
This is just a DOJ coup operation designed to harm the NRA as in the clutches of “Russia”.
I would be happy to allow them to parole her to me as a house maid... Can guarantee the gubmint I would keep a “close” eye on her...

From what I’ve been able to piece together, I think she just got accused of spying for the express reason that she’s Russian and the Dems wanted someone they could call spy and link to President Trump.
Nobody seems to want to bring up the fact that her reason for speaking to NRA people was to learn details about the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. She wanted a Russian 2nd Amendment and was doing research. I don’t think she did anything wrong, she was just a convenient patsy for the Dems.
Un-F*cking-Believable. These people have pretty much turned our country into a Banana Republic. The people that are connected to the right political party, with their lackeys in the media and, alleged political opposition, can do whatever they want, whenever they want. No fear of accountability.
I read about her trying to get in with the NRA and was left wondering, would she try to get in good with them and then parlay that into trying to get a picture with the President.
So, I’d love to ask if she took/stole anything from the NRA? Info on members and then used their credit cards to buy stuff? Was she selling their information to the Russian mob, who then committed massive credit card fraud?
