Retiring Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) said in a new interview that the Republican Party has been inured to danger of President Trump's continued criticism of special counsel Robert Mueller.
"It’s like the party is a frog slowly boiling in water, being conditioned to not be worried, to not think too hard about what’s happening around them,” Flake told The Washington Post.
“They feel at a loss about what to do because it’s the president’s party, without any doubt," he said. "So, there’s a lot of whistling by the graveyard these days.”

When any of Jeff’s four sons (and one daughter) get older, want to intern or get into politics, a lot of GOP will remember back when Mr. Flake was a SKUNK at the party picnic.
This may limit those willing to work with the little Flakes.
They will have to rely on their Mormon associates instead.

Retiring because he didn’t have a prayer of winning the primary. Sadly he would have won the general. He only voted for Kavanaugh because he thinks can be Governor. Gutless Mitch would not remove him from the Judiciary committee so he is allowed to play spoiler till the end.

A guy who couldn’t win a primary in his own state half way through his first and only term.... his opinion carries about as much weight as a bucket with no bottom.
As an engineer I’ve dealt with guys like flake my entire life... far more ego than ability.
So long Flake... the GOP put you on the judiciary committee was the biggest mistake of the last 6 years for sure.
So basically what Flake wants is the Republican Party to become like the Democrat Party, FULL on Commies..because hey open borders is super awesome isn’t it Flaky..let them move into YOUR neighborhood see how you like it
