AZ Lawmaker Faces Calls for Resignation After Saying Black People Don’t ‘Blend In’ With Society

An Arizona state legislator with a history of anti-immigrant commentary is facing calls to resign after he told university students that black people “don’t blend in” to society like European immigrants and “always look different.”

The legislator, Representative David Stringer, who represents the Yavapai County area, made the comments after a public lecture at Arizona State University on Nov. 19, during which history professor Donald Critchlow discussed the 2018 midterm elections.

Mr. Critchlow said students recorded a “private conversation” they had with Mr. Stringer after the lecture. The recording was sent to local news outlets last week.

I can’t click NYT, I just cannot!

I will guess it is a big nothing-burger if Representative David Stringer is aligned with the Demz.

Also if he were a Black man, they would excuse it based on ‘intersectionality’ regarding his victim status.

Am I right?

My wife is Black, we gave baby showers to 275 Moms who chose life, 2/3 black. We found that black people don’t want to mix, they want to live in majority black areas. The same as everyone else. In LA, ethnicities self segregate. Homoginization is a leftist pipe dream.

Don’t get your hopes up - he’s an R.

There is a current and growing strategy by the progressives to find and or create republican politicians who later come out as racist.

They’re terrified by the increasing public awareness that the democrat party is the party of the KKK, Jim Crow and slavery.

And that all American slave owners were democrats.

The lawmaker is wrong.

Blacks invariably vote only about 95% of the time for democrats. Meaning that, somewhere around 5% vote to blend in. So, there is hope.

The democrats are trying to repaint the same false portrait they’ve been working on for fifty years.

It’s not that he’s wrong. You’re missing the point.

He’s been paid off by the progressive subversives to make republicans look racist.

They think this is still their ace card.

Careful, you’re falling for the leftist narrative.

Expand your thinking.

I had a young woman working for me who was a great project administrative assistant who explained it to me this way: I want my kids to grow up where they are not a minority, so that means I stay in the inner city in the majority black areas even though I could move to the nicer suburbs and feel fine myself. (She did not say Afro-American)

All it takes is a sociopath who decides to run for office. He chooses the R label and finds a gold mine in doing the bidding of the democrats.

Acting like a racist is only one of the tactics. There are many others, as illustrated by people like John McCain and Jeff Flake.

Even if he is a genuine R. [IDK] he could claim Political Dysphoria, and all would be forgiven.

My two farthings...

He is not all that smart if he allowed himself to be set up by a bunch of kids.

It doesn’t state his party affiliation.

He must be a dem, otherwise it would be part of the headline.

The AZ lawmaker in question will have his resignation announced by Monday morning.

He is toast.

The takeaway is that it’s impossible to advance progressivism without disguising it as something else. And doing things like blame progressive values on republicans.

Democrats are the racists. The welfare state is their current version of the slave plantation.

No republican ever owned a slave.
