What it did was to once again bring to the fore, all of the damned HOLIER THAN THOU damned CINOs, who don't know any factual history, are stupid little SNOWFAKES, and who truly do NOT belong on this site!

Back when FR was young and mostly populated by posters who actually knew and understood factual history, politics, and HOW this government is supposed to work, they wouldn't have lasted a week! Now they are not only tolerated, but never even given a time out; sadly.

How long have for REAL CONSERVATIVES yearned for a REAL leader; someone who fought back and believed in the things that this nation was founded on? DECADES and now that we have such a one, the pathetic, sniveling little phony hypocrites are all all a flutter over this remarkable man's "style". A style which not a single one of them understands and therefore don't appreciate.

I doubt they even voted for Trump, in '16 and didn't bother to turn out this year to vote in the Midterm elections, but blame HIM for that!

LOL...can you tell just how fed up I am with those jerks?

“... REAL CONSERVATIVES...”

Well, ‘conservative’ does not have an objective definition.

Plus, this is The FREE REPUBLIC. Not the Conservative Republic.

There are plenty of sites devoted to the latter around - well, one less (Weekly Standard) pretty soon. But not so many sites that would advocate a return to a truly originalist Free Republic.

And Trump is not even close to a Free Republic advocate. Domestic policy-wise he is much closer to the typical big government Republican.

It’s not really deniable. He is a proud supporter of destructive, unconstitutional fed entitlements. And why? Because they are popular, he is a populist after all. Which works in our favor on the border, but not on most legislation. We simply have been fortunate that Paul Ryan is incompetent or Trump and he would have picked your pocket and mandated aspects of your life and our economy even further.

He even went about bashing the best folks in Congress, the HFC, in his attempt to create another big, bad fed program. It’s the best example of his misuse of the jackass personality - which I like when it is properly directed at the enemy instead of at our best people.

I still really like other aspects of Trump. The cooling of the climate insanity, trade things, Israel support, de-regulation, etc. Oh, and the left wing press bashing!

But mature minds can support him and still be honest about his flaws, some of which are severe.

Trump is great and all, but clearly NOT a Freedom-first guy. He should NOT be coddled, but rather encouraged to do better in this regard.

Tucker, Ann Coulter and such are doing both Trump and us a YUGE favor by calling him out on mistakes and trying to keep him on track.

Obama-style blind devotion does not help you, him or America.

Yes, and I beseech you to continue to give them no quarter, nor pardon :- )

Every day the first thing I do is check to see what our magnificent POTUS VSG has posted on his twitter feed.

And his tweet skewers an opponent or tells it like it is, I grin and snicker with glee! GO TRUMP!

As Paris burns and Brexit is betrayed, at least in my own country we have a leader who is willing to stand up to the world in defiance.

But also, in the next moment he’s got a smile on his face or a joke to tell. And I have not seen his wit equaled by any person here on this magnificent forum.
