While they may have had a classy funeral and he was a good guy, I still will not forgive the family for voting for Hillary Clinton. They put themselves in the “good ol’ boys club” on that one and I have lost all respect for them.
Agree, GHWB was my CinC during Desert Storm and Somolia and he will always have my respect for that even though I disagree with his policies on other things.
But as article points out the stark difference between the class of the Bushes and the outright disrespect of the McCains

Can't help but think what Bill Clinton's funeral might be like. I would expect Bill will drop dead between the legs of some bimbo. Hillary will need an entourage to just help her walk. Democrat leaders will have to work at their sad faces as they will be inwardly rejoicing the Clinton's are finally gone.

Funerals are good in general. Atheists just HATE funerals. Christians are put into the right frame of mind.

He was a combat pilot volunteer at 17 who was shot down over a hot target and crashed in the Pacific. So for that alone he deserves some respect for standing up and putting his life on the line for this country and our freedom.

Ya know what...that article could’ve been written by me. I was so disgusted by way the McCains (planned by him, no doubt) orchestrated what was the closest thing to a presidential funeral I’ve ever seen.
Hopefully, we’ll never see another McCain on an Arizona ballot again.
