LE knows prostitution busts are unpopular, at least among some groups. So, they have abolished prostitution busts and converted them to “human trafficking.”

If there are pimps and madams, or if coercion is used to make prostitutes do tricks then it is trafficking.

Freelancers are just straight up prostitution.

It’s hard to find an image of the photos online that’s large enough to see the names. But the crowd is certainly diverse.

It seems to me like this is a fairly major story. Everyone agrees human trafficking is bad, and 100 people is a lot of people, but my prediction is that this story will get almost no coverage beyond the local area. If it gets any mention at all on the national news, it will be a passing reference and will be forgotten by tomorrow.

It seems that a lot of real crime is now overshadowed by our preoccupation with "gotcha" politics, gaffes, violations of political correctness, and trivia.
