Each year hundreds of illegal aliens die in the desert trying to enter our nation illegally. In all probability even more die in Mexico at the hands of the cartels and coyotes. It is a very ugly business. The toll on young attractive women is obscene to say the least.
If we had a mine field only the insane would try to cross and many hundreds therefore would not die as they would not come unless legitimate asylum seekers applying the legal way. If you are a legitimate asylum seeker you can apply to USA authorities in your home country. Thus it is totally clear those in the caravan are mostly economic refugees and or criminals. Otherwise they would apply in their home nation.
In 2017 were 294 illegal alien deaths in our deserts of the Southwest. The number of bodies in the desert that have not been discovered are many.
