Video at link (0.26)
I really only posted this to see if anyone can tell me where to find video of the 21 jet flyover at the Bush funeral?
He is deserving of such a tribute, and I expect it to be awesome!

I think the flyover will be tomorrow in Texas. Bush 41 is certainly worthy of every military honor.
Always learning something new, just heard on the radio that George HW Bush’s jet fighter was shot down during WWII but he was rescued by a US submarine. I’ll bet it was by one of our nuclear subs!
We did not have nuclear subs until the late 1950’s
GHW Bush flew neither a fighter nor a jet.
Yes it will be Thursday

Twenty-one of those will fly a “missing man” flyover in honor of Bush Thursday.
My 94yr old Dad, a well-decorated WWII Vet, combat engineer w/ Patton’s 3rd Corps in France, Central Europe, Rhineland, Ardennes and liberating Bastogne in The Battle of the Bulge, passed on Sept 26th.
The York Color Guard did a 21 Gun Salute, Flag Folding ceremony and 4 A-10 “Warthog” Thunderbolts overflew the Internment ceremony at York’s Mt Rose Cemetery. Blew everyone away, because we didn’t arrange or expect it.
21 jets ought to be an amazing sight.
George H. W. Bush was not a fighter pilot. He was a war hero, but he flew a TBM Avenger torpedo bomber in the Western Pacific.

Ah, modern journalism. Ain’t it wunnerful?
Oh, and the sub used GPS to locate him.
Please review USS Nautilus.
DIESEL subs..................
Nuclear didn’t come along till after the war.................
GREAT photo!
Oops, forgive me. I didn’t read your post closely enough and your fine, fine snarky comment. Touché!
LOL!
Not only that he was the first to use twitter to communicate that his plane was shot.
</sarcasm>
Thanks, BiggBob for that excellent link!
It was before nuclear subs.
