MORE: Holly’s three sisters left court in hysterics after the judge denied bond. They tell me Holly works overnights at the U.S. Postal Service distribution center in Gaithersburg, and has three young kids. “She gets off every morning and goes straight home,” Holly’s BF said.
‘You don’t think she is a flight risk. I’m sure the officer is financially responsible for his family, and she tried to kill him,’ Montgomery County District Court Judge Rand Gelber said.
Prosecutors said: I think that he is extremely lucky that he was not severely injured. First, from being hit by a vehicle, but also from having to hold onto it while that vehicle was traveling at extremely high speeds down the highway.’
The public defender added that Holly recently started taking a medication for an undisclosed ‘psychiatric issie’ and it’s unclear if that issue led to the incident.
Holly was not granted bond and Judge Gelber called her a ‘danger to the community’. She faces 50 years in prison.
Her three sisters and the father of her children attended the bond hearing and left in tears.
