Fair enough. I say eliminate the fair catch and move the PAT back to the 20.
Not likely, I believe these guys know which side of the bread the butter is on -

At any rate, fun to watch from Spring-Fall. Not the most professional of play, but they play with guts.
Anything to make the game better. faster, more dramatic, less predictable.
lengthen the field..
More players/ less players..
I’d say go so far as to give the offense nets and tridents and give the defense shields and swords..
then of course lions in the end zone..
As the hometown of Sidney Crosby Halifax is all right with me.
I understand your pessimism, but I hope the XFL or AAF do well.
How about a point for each 10 yards?
1 from the 10, 2 from the 20, etc.
2 for a 37-yarder is a pretty good arrangement.
3 for a 47-yard extra “point.”
Maybe in a few years if both leagues make it, they can have their own “Super Bowl”.
Every league tries to copy the NFL. Why not model it after College football?
Have professional teams called “Tide”, “Horns”, “Wolverines”, “Tigers”, “Lions”. Give fans the players they already know from a few years ago.
No affiliation with universities, but fans would know.
Now yer talkin'! Real battle.
I’ll buy tickets for the DC team
