And so our betters finally get to benefit from the liberal policies they have forced on the rest of us. I was in second grade when bussing started in Georgia. What you describe is exactly what has been happening since 1970.Only the liberal elite in Manhattan managed to exempt their children from the consequences. Now the chickens as they say have come home to roost.
I guess the NYC Ed Dept folks are now saying they will subsidize these blacks & Hispanics while you Whites and Orientals (I know, Asians:-) will continue to Pay! I qualified for and was accepted into Art & Design HS in Manhattan and let me tell you I had to drop out because I couldn’t afford the implements required for the classes (I was raised by a single Mom and had two sisters). Unfortunately I had the talent but not the $ to stay in.
The liberals in Hartford’s suburbs when the courts ruled for Sheff vs ONeil had a sissy fit when the court ruled for Sheff. Still, even with magnet schools, Hartford’s suburbs are mostly whites (except Bloomfield and Windsor, which are minority majority towns. Windsor southern end in the minority area, Rainbow and Poquanock are mostly white still...
My Wife and her Sisters were Bussed to a “Minority” area School when they were Kids. It didn’t go well.
Now your northern n*****’s a negro
You see he’s got his dignity
Down here we’re too ignorant to realize
That the North has set the n***** free
Yes he’s free to be put in a cage
In Harlem in New York City
And he’s free to be put in a cage
On the South Side of Chicago
And the West Side
And he’s free to be put in a cage
In Hough in Cleveland
And he’s free to be put in a cage
In East St. Louis
And he’s free to be put in a cage
In Fillmore in San Francisco
And he’s free to be put in a cage
In Roxbury in Boston
They’re gatherin’ ‘em up from miles around
Keepin’ the n*****s down

My son was bused across town for 1 year as were most of the kids in our area (we were in Clemmons and our kids were bused to Winston-Salem NC). For once that school had parents that were involved in their kids education and the schools finances. Fortunately we parents (voters) were up in arms about having our White Kids bused into a all Black School and neighborhood and it only lasted 1 year. I imagine that afterwards all things went back the way it was at the MLK BLVD school my Son was bused to. Look even if you are poor, as I was growing up, you should at least be involved in getting your kids a better education then you have. But I guess when you are a generational Ward of the State that never comes to mind.
