The problem is, the public didn’t know there was a problem until Feb 2017.
Those that knew - and they had to know for good long awhile - kept it quiet.
I had to look back for this but near as I can figure:
The Awans were let go 2/2/2017 and Politico & BuzzFeed reported on it 2/2/2017.
Daily Caller posted it’s first article 2/4/2017.
IMO, Daily Caller’s Luke Rosiak and George Webb did the bulk of the investigative reporting on this.
And you are right, no reason to think W would know anything about this.

I never said it lead to W. However, I would not rule out some knowledge of the same. Frankly we don’t have access to sufficient knowledge to know one way or another about most things. There are ties between CIA/Derps and Paki Intelligence etc. Hence I made a joke about W’s Paki tailor.
It seems to me the more I learn, that the whole darn establishment was either, bribed or compromised in some way, so I would rule nothing out at this stage.
We have no way of knowing who did what with the pitiful amount of random acts of journalism that gets published.
