South Florida QAnon Cop Gets Demoted From SWAT Team

This past Friday, Broward Sheriff's Office SWAT member Matt Patten wore a QAnon conspiracy-theory patch while greeting Vice President Mike Pence at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Today Patten was reprimanded and demoted from the SWAT team and BSO’s Office of Homeland Security.

For the uninitiated, QAnon is the staggeringly dumb internet conspiracy theory that claims Donald Trump is secretly working to arrest a coterie of high-level pedophiles in Hollywood and the Democratic Party. In reality, NBC News has proffered convincing evidence that the people behind the conspiracy theory are actually a group of online con artists on YouTube and 4chan.

Obviously you are taken in by the simple inaccurate dichotomies of the Q folk. In that world everyone is either “with us or against us,” and the only legitimate MAGA supporters must swallow and regurgitate Q drops.

I have devoted an unjustifiable amount of time to reading/viewing/discussing stuff from the Qooks over the past 12+ months, not only on FR but in a variety of places including Reddit, Twitter, various web/Youtube “interpreters” etc. etc. Not because I ever found it worth taking seriously, but because I was puzzled at the people who could not grasp the myriad flaws and incoherencies in what was being presented. The phenomenon interests me as an example of cultish behavior and the herding of sheep.

Yes, it is all feeble minded stuff and those who can’t see through it should sadden us all. They are an embarrassment to POTUS Trump, VP Pence, and all credible conservatives.

Everything that is worth taking seriously can be discussed without reference to “Q”.... none of the real information, facts, problems of our country etc. need “Q” or depend upon Q for accuracy and our understanding. Q is deceitful propaganda, no matter how much we may like *some* of what is said.

Perhaps you just don’t understand what it really is. It’s not a set of facts or logic. It’s a movement, people, and a means of clandestine communication that might be our only free communication very soon?

I’ll readily admit I’m not totally sure I believe or fully understand the q movement myself. But I know there are mostly good patriots involved and that they are working tirelessly to expose and destroy the deep state.

If the deep state is like what I really know very well, institutional finance, then it is far worse and more evil than we give it credit.

Aw come on. Some of the Q announcements are blatantly false.
Yeah, it’s good in general because people are doing research. But they could do that research without the Q crowd’s support- or they could be supported by others.

It’s the general media’s mis-representations that created Q.
Best to change the media, and that’s *slowly* happening.

Maybe in Arizona, but not in Texas. We have enough nuts as it is, not even counting the Alex Jones and Q nuts.
