One sad trend I’ve seen at work,
When a male comes in to work realizes they have a flat tire. Older men will change it themselves, while younger lads will instead call AAA or their insurance company to come change it for them.
just shows the lack of masculine pride in the current younger generation
A couple years ago, we popped a tire in a parking lot. We went about our business intending to change it when we got back to the car.
As I was jacking up the car, the lug wrench broke. Since we were in a small town with no auto parts shop, I had to swallow my pride and call road service. I then started to get the spare off the rack below the minivan and discovered our spare tire was missing.
Don’t know if it was stolen, fell off or what. Had a friend come get us and fixed it the next day.
