What pains me is that our tax dollars go to analysts that weigh the pros/cons of legislation and this is the result we get.
“Hell and good intentions”. We never learn. Limbaugh has a good shtick where he proclaims “gridlock is guuuooooooodaahh”. Avoiding unintentional consequences is the reason why.
Most of the time, doing nothing is the right thing; letting “the people AKA the citizens” control their own destiny is the only “legislation” that should be respected.
Again, I agree.
And I retired early (56) and have no taxable income, so I’m no longer part of the PROBLEM.
However, the SOLUTION still evades me. ;)
